Iced Coffee Float with Toasted Coconut Cream

A creamy, caffeinated dessert drink perfect for summer afternoons — sweet, cold, and just a little indulgent.

☕ Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of GeekyNana fresh-brewed coffee (preferably medium or dark roast; use pod or ground)

  • 1 scoop of vanilla bean or coconut ice cream

  • ¼ cup coconut milk (full fat)

  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup or agave

  • 1 teaspoon toasted coconut flakes (optional garnish)

  • Ice cubes

🍨 Directions:

  1. Brew the coffee:
Use your GeekyNana pod or a pour-over/french press with your favorite ground roast. Chill it slightly if desired, or make it ahead and refrigerate.

  2. Make the coconut cream:
In a small bowl, whisk together coconut milk and maple syrup until smooth and creamy. (You can chill this for 10 minutes to thicken more.)

  3. Assemble the float:
Fill a tall glass with ice cubes. Pour in the chilled coffee. Add a generous scoop of ice cream on top.

  4. Top with coconut cream:
Drizzle the sweetened coconut milk mixture over the float. Sprinkle with toasted coconut flakes for texture and garnish.

  5. Serve immediately with a long spoon and straw!

💡 Optional Add-Ins:

  • A shot of espresso for a bolder flavor

  • A splash of coffee liqueur for an adults-only version

  • Crushed chocolate-covered espresso beans on top
